Easy and reliable access to the internet has brought many awesome things to my life, but discovering online comic strips has been an unexpected bonus. Like most kids of my era, I devoured Archie comics and the Sunday colour comics. But as I got older, adult comic books, manga and graphic novels felt inaccessible.
Enter the era of the online comic strip. Published several times a week, arranged chronologically, and located all in one place, they are easy to follow and keep up with. One of my recent favourites is Lunarbaboon.
Lunarbaboon follows the life of a father through everyday struggles. It’s sweet, real, and sincere. It provides an authentic look at life at a time when I think we all need that.
I give it two thumbs up.
Happy weekending,
Laura
